The Technical Services Representative serves as the primary technical and service contact for customers within an assigned territory. This role focuses on building trusted relationships to deliver exceptional technical support and service. In addition to ensuring customer satisfaction, the representative is responsible for maintaining existing sales revenue and identifying opportunities to grow business through ACM products that enhance the performance and production of customer materials. The role also provides hands-on technical support for cement admixtures, including troubleshooting, optimization, and application guidance to ensure customers achieve the desired performance, efficiency, and quality results in their cement production processes.

Key Responsibilities
Routine Activities:
  • Maintain and service assigned customer accounts, providing technical support for ACM admixtures.
  • Build strong relationships with customers and industry partners while identifying opportunities to grow sales within the territory.
  • Provide on-site troubleshooting, optimization support, and training related to concrete technology and product performance.
  • Install, maintain, and repair ACM dispensing equipment as needed.
  • Monitor and report on market trends and competitive activity.
  • Support field trials, R&D initiatives, and represent ACM at industry events and associations.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Technical Services Manager.
Reporting:
  • Submit weekly site visit tracking reports.
  • Maintain detailed CRM notes documenting customer interactions and service activities.
Compliance:
  • Adhere to all personnel safety protocols at customer sites and ACM production facilities.
  • Follow electrical safety standards when servicing ACM equipment.
  • Maintain a non-smoking, non-vaping status where permitted by law.

Education and Experience
  • Associate degree or higher (Bachelor’s in a technical field preferred).
  • 3–5 years of experience in the cement or concrete products industry.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience or aptitude in technical service and account management.
  • Strong knowledge of concrete and concrete products.
  • Electrical and mechanical aptitude.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including conflict management and handling challenging customers.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities; able to work independently.
  • Willingness to travel extensively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with Monday.com or similar CRM tools is a plus.
  • Fluency in English required; Spanish fluency strongly preferred.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
Travel Requirements
  • Extensive travel required (up to 70% weekly) by car and plane.
