Position Description:
The Dispensing Systems Technician position is accountable and responsible for assisting with the execution and coordination of all aspects of the company’s dispensing equipment systems. This position reports directly to the Dispensing Systems Manager.

The Dispensing Systems Technician position is accountable and responsible for assisting with the execution and coordination of all aspects of the company’s dispensing equipment systems. This position reports directly to the Dispensing Systems Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and participate in the installation of ACM’s dispensing equipment systems at customer locations utilizing assistance from ACM’s Technical Service Representatives and trainees.
- Refurbish and/or rebuilding ACM dispensing units
- Actively participate in all troubleshooting activities related to ACM’s dispensing equipment.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment related to dispensing equipment inventory and maintenance/troubleshooting areas.
- Maintain accurate and timely reports of activities and procedures related to dispensing equipment systems and other maintenance and upgrade activities conducted for the Company and its customers.
- Establish strong, trusting and mutually-respectful relationships with other ACM staff members, customers, and vendor representatives.
- Assist with, when requested & directed, ACM’s production facility maintenance and/or upgrades to ACM’s production facility
- Assist other Company representatives as needed.

Experience:
- 2 or more-year degree (4-year technical degree preferred) AND/OR 5 or more-years of experience in electrical, mechanical and plumbing systems used in manufacturing and other machinery.
- Hands on experience with design, installation & maintenance of electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems-including pneumatic valve actuation systems, electric and pneumatic pumps and motors, and liquid flow detection and metering systems, and remote sensing of liquid storage tank levels.
- Experience with PLC & HMI programming.
- Experience with writing and following standard operating procedures related to mechanical systems installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated strong problem solving skills under pressure.
- Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude.
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills (both written & verbal)
- Conflict management & ability to deal with sometimes hostile internal and external customers.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Excel & Microsoft Word
- Ability to work as a one-person team for extended periods of time.
- Ability to travel up to 60% of the time.
- Ability to work standing up and/or walking for extended periods of time.
- Ability to lift 25 pounds unassisted.
- Ability to work weekends if required
